Breast Surgery
Procedure Type: Total Capsulectomy, Breast Implant Removal, and Breast Lift.
Pre-Op Cup Size: 36C.
Post-Op Cup Size: 36B.
Doctor’s Comments
Patient had a history of breast augmentation using textured saline implants, placed 26 years ago, above the muscle, through periareolar incisions. Size of the implants were unknown to the patient. Current bra size was 36C. Size prior to surgery was B. Patient was a runner and felt that her implants got in the way of running. She wanted her implants out due to capsular contracture and did not want to worry about recurring capsular contractures and the need for future surgeries. Patient underwent revision surgery with Dr. Park who performed a total capsulectomy, removal of her implants and breast lift using wise pattern/anchor type of incisions. She was very happy with the improved appearance and size of her breasts, and lack of hardness after the breast lift and implant removal. Her before and after photos show her results 1 year after her surgery.
