Doctor’s Comments
Patient concerned about breast implant illness symptoms. She complained of chronic fatigue, headaches, anxiety, left breast pain, and back pain. Lab studies were normal. She felt that her breasts felt too large and heavy. Patient had a history of a breast augmentation using saline implants placed through a TUBA incision in the past. Size of her McGhan saline implants were 350 cc. Bra size was 34D. Patient decided to undergo explant/total capsulectomy, and breast lift.
Dr. Park performed an En Bloc total capsulectomy with removal of her implants and breast lift using wise pattern/anchor type of incisions. The patient reported resolution of her left breast pain, headaches and back pain. Her before and after photos show her results 3 1/2 months after her surgery.
