Doctor’s Comments
This patient had a history of breast augmentation in the 1990’s using silicone breast implants. She developed capsular contracture and under revision breast augmentation with a breast lift by another San Diego area plastic surgeon using 400cc moderate profile silicone implants. She was not happy with the appearance of her breasts. She felt that her implants were too high giving her breasts unusual shapes. She also said that she worked out daily and did not like the animation deformity when she flexed her chest muscles. She consulted with Dr. Gregory Park who recommended Mentor MemoryShape Gummy Bear Anatomic (tear drop) shaped implants for this revision breast augmentation surgery. 305cc Tall Height Moderate Plus Profile shaped breast implants were placed under the pectoralis muscle in dual plane split muscle pockets to reduce her animation deformity significantly. Her before and after photos show her results at 3 months.
