After experiencing blunt trauma to his nose, my patient had significant difficulty breathing through his nose, he snored at night, and did not like the resulting crooked appearance. He underwent a septoplasty to straighten his nasal septum and rhinoplasty to straighten his nasal bones. After surgery, his breathing and nasal appearance improved greatly.
