This patient presented with concerns about breast implant illness symptoms. She reported that she developed symptoms such as chronic fatigue, dizziness, joint pain, headaches, flu like symptoms without fever, leg spasms, paresthesias in the arms and hands, brain fog, poor concentration over the last 1 1/2 years. She has had shingles in the right breast twice over the past 2 years. Lab work, MRIs, X-rays were all negative. Her bra size was 34 B/C after her breast augmentation. Her size after explant and total capsulectomy surgery was AA. 6 months after the removal of her implants, her breasts returned to her pre-augmentation size and shape, 34AA. After surgery the patient reported that her arm, neck and back pain had resolved. She reported that her concentration had improved. She no longer had dizziness. She also had more energy.
