My patient desired improvement in the shape of her breasts, a reduction in her breast size, and improvement in her chronic back pain. A reduction mammoplasty removed 490 grams from the right and 600 grams from the left breast. 3 months after surgery she was happy with her improved breast shape and size and reported resolution of her back pain. Her bra size decreased from 34DDDD (G) to 34C after her breast reduction.
