Doctor’s Comments
This patient presented with concerns about the appearance of her breasts after losing about 10 lb. Bra size 34B. She already had silicone implants, under muscle, placed through periareolar incisions by another plastic surgeon. She complained of excess movement of the implants especially on the right, rippling due to loss of breast volume, sagging, wide gap, and animation deformity. She could not remember the size of her implants. But,her breast size goals with augmentation were for larger more natural appearing breasts. She consulted with Dr. Gregory Park who recommended Mentor Memory Shape Gummy Bear Anatomic (tear drop) shaped implants for this revision breast augmentation surgery. 395cc Tall Height Moderate Plus Profile shaped breast implants were placed partially under the pectoralis muscle in dual plane split muscle pockets to reduce her animation deformity when she flexed her chest muscles. After breast augmentation this patient’s bra size was increased from 34B to 34D. Her before and after photos show her results at 3 months.
