This patient had a history of breast augmentation using saline implants, placed in 2006, under the muscle, through periareolar incisions. After suffering a rib dislocation from trauma. she said that she constantly had pain in her neck and around her chest. She was an active surfer. But, the pain had affected her ability to surf. Her bra size was 32D. Size prior to surgery was 32A.
She had her implants removed and was happy with her decision to explant. Her postoperative bra size was a 32A bra. After breast implant removal, she reported instant relief in her neck and chest pain, and looks forward to getting back into the water to surf. Her before and after photos show her results 1 month after removal of her implants.
