Doctor’s Comments
Patient was concerned about breast implant illness symptoms. She complained of chronic fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, GI problems, and Facial rashes. Patient had a history of breast augmentation using Allergan saline implants, placed 15 years prior by another plastic surgeon, under the muscle, though periareolar incisions. Size of the implants were 330cc. Bra size was 34D after augmentation. Her size prior to surgery was 34A/B. This patient chose Dr. Gregory Park to perform her explant, total capsulectomy and breast lift. She was concerned that her implant was causing breast implant illness. She underwent surgery with Dr. Park who performed an en bloc total capsulectomy with removal of her implants and breast lift using wise pattern/anchor type of incisions. She reported resolution of her brain fog and joint pain symptoms and was very happy with the improved appearance and size of her breasts after the breast lift and capsulectomy with implant removal. Her before and after photos show her results 3 months after her surgery.
