This patient had saline breast implants for 19 years. Patient had been chronically ill with dry eyes, fatigue, joint pain, and swelling 10 years after undergoing breast augmentation surgery. She decided to undergo bilateral explant (breast implant removal) and total capsulectomy (En Bloc Capsulectomy). Prior to this surgery, she reported that she had difficulty losing weight. After surgery, she states that she was symptom free and had lost 20lbs. 3 1/2 months after the removal of her implants.
