Doctor’s Comments
This patient had undergone a breast augmentation by another San Diego area plastic surgeon using silicone implants placed under the muscles through axillary (arm pit) incisions. She was not happy with the appearance of her breasts. She felt that her implants were too high and her breasts were asymmetric. She also complained of animation deformity when she flexed her chest muscles. She consulted with Dr. Gregory Park who recommended Mentor Memory Shape Gummy Bear Anatomic (tear drop) shaped implants for this revision breast augmentation surgery. 395cc Tall Height Moderate Plus Profile shaped breast implants were placed under the pectoralis muscle in a dual plane split muscle pocket reducing her animation deformity. After breast augmentation this patient’s bra size was increased from 36C to 36D. Her before and after photos show her results at 3 months.
