This patient suffered from constant back and shoulder pain, and could not exercise because of the weight of her large breasts. She wore a 40F bra prior to surgery. She consulted with Dr. Gregory Park and decided to undergo breast reduction surgery. The reduction mammoplasty removed 1548 grams of tissue from the right breast and 1575 grams of tissue from the left, nearly 6.9 lbs combined. After surgery the patient’s back and shoulder pain disappeared and she was happy to be able to wear a 38D bra.
