This patient had McGhan 180cc silicone breast implants placed under the muscles for 30 years. Patient complained of chronic fatigue, low back pain, joint pain, left breast pain, firm right breast. On examination she was found to have capsular contracture in both breasts. She decided to undergo bilateral explant (breast implant removal) and total capsulectomy En Bloc.
She underwent Bilateral Explant and Total Capsulectomy for Grade 3 capsular contracture and ruptured implant on the right, and Grade 2 capsular contracture and intact implant on the left. After surgery she reported that her breast pain was resolved.
